James Manera owns Blindfaith Productions, where he has acted as head of production, development and advertising for over 12 years. Manera began his career as a writer at the Leo Burnett Company, ending a 10-year run as a GCD at DDB Worldwide before joining the Bedford Falls Company as a Director for One-hour dramatic series (CBS), Director/EP writer - Documentary Series (PBS), Director 2nd Unit/Feature Films with Paramount and Eternity Pictures, Director/writer TV Pilot drama (Comcast network), Director ABC TV Fall Promo, Producer/director documentary feature independent.

Over the years Manera’s directorial achievements have been internationally recognized.  His numerous awards consist of; Multiple Clio Awards, 8 International Awards (including 2 Cannes festival awards, The 2004 IBA Awards Show’s “Best Commercial in the World”, “Best in Show” and Best of 3 Categories, USA Aurora Awardsboth of which were “Platinum Best in Show” awards, Gold Caddy Awards, including, “Best in Show” in three categories, US Andy Awards, 5 Canadian Bessie Awards, including, “Best in Show” and “Best in category”, in which Manera directed Alan Arkin in a 5-spot package for Moosehead beer, and USA One-Show Awards and 3 Effie Awards.. 

Manera earned awards for his years as an athlete, winning numerous Ohio golf championship titles, which led to a full ride offer at Bowling Green State University.  There, Manera gave up his scholarship in the Spring of his first year and began a Rugby career that led to his playing for the United States Eagles rugby team 8 years later; ending his career on the field against the South African Springboks.  USA Eagles national team, Chicago Lions Rugby, Cincinnati Wolfhounds Rugby, UC Rugby, BGSU Rugby

Manera has two daughters; Isabella, 21 and Francesca, 18. Anthony James Productions, Inc. is in partnership with The Map Group. He has lived in Southern California since the Fall of 1989.

Manera also worked on the following films and TV series: Warner Brothers, The Kominski Method, CBS Seal Team (Season One), HBO, Camping, Starz, Now Apocolypse
